Company generator is permanently installed, maintenance includes regular inspection even not in use:
a. Monthly test run for at least 30 minutes
b. Checking the generator oil level or if not stale
c. Checking for leaks, fuel stores
d. Replacing broken generator parts
e. Cleaning of the generator air filter or need to replace
f. Inspect spar plugs
g. Testing the battery.
Business has two source of water supplies:
- from CUC, a government corporation providing power and water service on the island.
- An installed deep well use for emergency purpose in case of calamities or if CUC unable to provide the water
Deep well pump maintenance includes:
a. Regular inspection even when not in use.
b. Ensuring the well cap is securely in place to keep out from debris & pests
c. Monitoring the pressure tank regularly
d. Checking the pump making sure it's not clogged or need to be replaced
e. Water quality testing once a year by a water testing service.
How the small equipment are being transported : Small equipment are being transported within departments by using heavy duty strollers and heavy duty hand pull carts by foot.
Duties may involve welding, carpentry, repairing electrical plumbing fixtures, installing, aligning & balancing new equipment and repairing building floors and stairs.
Repairs & replaces woodwork, masonry, paint exterior and interior of buildings
May cut or trim grass using power equipment or hand tools.
Repairs plaster & brick
Build shed and other outbuilding's (outbuilding or shed is 20ft by 10ft booth set up nearby the business establishment on special events or occasions for promotion, with materials such as lumber wood, roof tint, plywood, screws, nails, light bulbs, electrical wire, tape, A.C. outlet and tools such as pliers, screw driver, wire cutter, cordless power drill, hammer, power saw, ladder, bar level, angel level).
May set up tables and chairs
.Perform routine maintenance such as maintain generator and water system as required
May transport small equipment (freezers, chillers, microwave, ovens) between department
Ensure that vehicles (3) Sienna vans for pick-up and dropping customers,(1) Tacoma pick-up for trash disposal, (2) four door Corolla for employees provided and employers' car are maintained in good working and are available at jobsite when needed.
Maintenance required are: checking air tire pressure, engine oil to prevent engine damage and engine coolant to prevent overheating. Fixing minor problem such as changing busted headlights, brake lights and signs lights. Checking brakes and engine conditions if needs repair from auto repair shop and car washing and vacuuming
Keep premises clean and orderly condition-perform regular clean up on the premises that includes proper waste disposal and recycling practices.
Setting up designated storage areas for tools, equipment, fixtures finding it easily when needed
Ensuring all chemicals are properly store away, making sure electrical boxes or circuits' have no flammable objects stored nearby.
Make sure all entrances and exits are free of obstacles in case of emergency.
Trouble shooting- responds to emergency situation during and after working hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
